This Privacy Policy describes how Workout Planner ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our mobile application available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following personal information to enable core features of the app:

• Email Address – Required for authentication and account management.
• Name – Optional; used for personalization within the app.
• Profile Photo – Optional; used for profile customization.
• Operating System Info – Used to redirect users to the appropriate app store.

We do not collect location data, contacts, or calendar information. We also do not use analytics, advertising, or crash reporting services.

2. How We Collect Information

We collect personal information directly from you when you:

• Sign up or log in to the app via in-app forms.
• Update your profile or account settings.
• Upload a profile image or scan QR codes to connect with other users.

We use third-party services for user authentication and payment processing:

• Firebase Authentication – for email/password login.
• RevenueCat – to manage subscriptions on the Play Store and App Store.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information strictly to provide and maintain the core functionality of the app, including:

• Account creation and login.
• Assigning and managing workouts.
• Connecting coaches with gym members.
• Managing subscription access.

We do not use your information for advertising, analytics, or any unrelated purpose.

4. Third-Party Services

Workout Planner integrates with the following third-party services:

• Firebase Authentication – Used for secure user login.
• RevenueCat – Used to handle in-app subscriptions and purchases securely.
• OpenAI – Used to generate personalized workout plans only when requested by you. Your workout-related input is sent to OpenAI’s servers for processing, and is not stored unless necessary to fulfill your request.
• Google and Apple – May use device-level identifiers to enable platform-specific functionality such as in-app purchases.

We do not sell or share your data with any advertising platforms.

5. User Rights and Controls

• Access & Edit: You can view and update your name and profile image under My Profile > Edit Profile.
• Delete Account: You can delete your account and personal data at any time under My Profile > Account Management > Account Deletion.

6. Data Storage and Security

All user data is stored securely in Firebase, which encrypts data at rest and in transit. We do not store or process your data outside Firebase.

7. International Data Transfers

As we use Firebase, your data may be stored on servers located outside your country, including in the United States. By using the app, you consent to this international transfer of your data.

8. Children’s Privacy

Workout Planner is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Legal Compliance

We are committed to complying with:

• The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the European Union.
• The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) for users in California.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the app or on our website, and the "Effective Date" will be updated accordingly.
